my two oldest are in awe -- it is educational for me. and I got some stares doing core work on the bleachers during the breaks. Do you teena or john know the blue devils? Kids just gave them a standing o.

Haven't heard of them Paul. Glad you all are having so much fun! :)

Hey Vuyk,

From JohnnyV on Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 11:00:24 from 204.124.13.151

Drum Corps International?

Blue Devils are always one of the favorites. They are good. I personally like the Phantom Regiment. Were they there? I totally missed it this year. I try to go but did not even look for the dates this year.

From Teena on Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 11:50:56 from 67.177.20.13

So Vuyk ... you really do play the trumpet????

Maybe I need to go to one of the Drum Corps Internationals. Is it anything like you see in the movie Drumline??? That was sweet!!! :)

From RivertonPaul on Thu, Jul 09, 2009 at 14:51:54 from 67.42.27.114

John,

My kids are partial to the Blue Devils because Riverton's band director was a member of one of the Blue Devil world championships.
