Ran for a bit with Steve W and his work buddy Pablo. Stopped and talked with Teena. It sure is hard to start back up after stopping for a few minutes.

Those are the most inconsistent splits I've ever seen. LOL. I'm guessing the 20 minute mile was when you stopped to talk to Teena. Or you were crawling up a steep mountain. Great job.

Burt, no one can makes sense of Johnny's way of keeping track of his time. I'm positive that 20 minute something is likely close to three miles. He has these crazy markers.

JohnnyV ... well next time don't stop and talk with me!!!! Of course I will be totally offended!!! :)

(I'm glad you chatted with me a bit today ... thanks!)

I fear it is the same way he does accounting.

Burt,

I don't have a fancy smancy Garmin or anything like it so I just go by points on the trail I run. I know how fast, or slow, I should be at each point and use them to stay on track. There is usually a mile stretch where I check my mile pace, otherwise I just run, hopefully hard sometimes and easy other times, if not, at least I ran.

So yes Paul, prettty much the way I do accounting.
